Ring-Rope-Puzzel 1

A ring-rope of string-ring puzzle. One should release the ring without (of course!) cutting the rope. I found a similar puzzle under the name "Pillar and ring puzzle", which has the same solution as the one here. If you can't find it yourself the instructions are easily found on the internet.

The puzzle can be printed using one STL-file. Maybe you need supports for the little balls. Otherwise one can use the separate STL-files to print each of the components seperately (1 thing, 1 ring, 2 boxes and 2 balls is a complete set). The SCAD-file is included as well and allows to change the dimensions of the puzzle. Note that the size of the elements all depend on the inner and outer diameter of the ring, otherwise the puzzle cannot be solved.

After printing I used a drill to clean the holes from any printing irregularities. The rope can be of any length, but the free end between the two boxes should be at least three ring diameters. I used electricity wire, because it has the right dia
