RingPenHolder

This simple, handy gadget keeps your pen readily available while you use your keyboard or mouse or do other tasks with your hands.

You can write something, let go of the pen and it springs out of the way so you can type or mouse, and then easily grab the pen back with your thumb. You can also flip the pen even further out of the way and back again with a flick of the wrist.

The RingPenHolder can be personalized with a label embossed on the ribbon.

The included RingPenHolder.scad OpenSCAD file allows the RingPenHolder to be easily customized with module parameters to accommodate different sized fingers and pens or labels. The file is well-organized and fully commented to allow more detailed modifications if you want to dig in. A selection of sample objects is included at the bottom of the file for experimenting with the possibilities.

The RingPenHolder works for both right- and left-handers. For a left-handed user, however, the normal label on the ring will appear f
