However, if the savannah is located near a mountain, then it will often become a Road Forest. Road forests are so named because of their tendency to resemble a series of overlapping highways supported by stilts. These plants are actually colonies of hexagonal, umbrella shaped plants. The lensed plants spread to new destinations via Hook Seeds, a plant which "latches" onto a wheeled animal's leg to hitch a free ride. Once a suitable location is reached, then the hook seed will detach and sprout a road forest founding colony. The reason that road forests form closer to mountains is because mountains are already colonized by non-wheeled animals as well as a variety of plants.
