Designed with Thingiverse user Spauda01 of D-Bot printer fame: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1001065
This design is for ROBO3D owners who upgraded their hot end to the E3D V6 and then realized that the two screws in the heatsink top does not secure the hot end properly.
Before this clamp design I went through 3 heat sinks since they would all grind out on top from the screws.
This will lower the hot end assembly height slightly. You may need a longer PTFE tube for easier filament insertion as well as adjusting your z offset slightly. My z offset with this clamp installed is -1.
1. Use the existing screws in the X axis assembly to attach the larger half of the clamp to the bottom of the X axis assembly.
2. Use 2 M3 25 mm bolts and 2 M3 nuts to then attach smaller half of clamp around the top of heat sink to larger half.
