If you are using hairspray or just cleaning your glass bed with windex you will get overspray in places where you don't want it. I created these spray shields to help control the spray. There are two pieces that are easy to install and remove. I usually place the carriage at 50mm on the Z Axis before inserting the shields and pull the printing bed all the way forward.
I originally designed the spray shield without any fan duct mods. I now have dual fan ducts with 40x40x20 fans. The spray shield still works well with that mod. I do have to take the carriage up to 80mm now to get better coverage of the printing bed surface. There are about 25mm of the back that are blocked by the shield. That still works for me. I added a front and back pic to show the difference.
