This is alternative roller design for t4obrien's great RoboMaster S1 - DIY project.
I thought that if I print roller and rod separately, it would be much easier to build and mix of materials could be used. So I put my hands into Fusion 360 and based on Tim's design I created one piece roller and it's rod.
I used TPU for roller and PLA for the rod. End result is very smooth rolling plus flexible like real tires.
You need to print them vertically. I was able to print multiple rollers at a time (like 4 to 7) but for the rod's it was only one at a time. Since it was fairly quick print, it was manageable.
Also I created shaft and plug to connect to my RobotMaster clone project (which is still work in progress) you can find them along with the files. I will share the rest when I have some progress.
I also attached Fusion 360 files so if you wish to remix it further you can do so.
Also if you wish to have other versions to remix please let me know.
