This 3D-printed robotic arm is operated via a hand crank and is suitable both as a decorative piece and as an educational tool for studying gear design. It uses a planetary gear system with the following configuration:Sun gear: 14 teethPlanet gears: 18 teeth (×4)Ring gear: 50 teethThe model is divided into multiple parts and requires no gluing. For assembly, you will only need:3 × screws with head diameter ≤ 6 mm, length ≈ 2.4 mm, outer thread diameter ≈ 3 mm3 × matching nuts (width ≤ 6 mm, size ≈ 3 mm)These screws and nuts are used to hold the arm on its place. The design also includes side mounting pins, making it possible to replace the hand crank with a motor in the future for automated operation.
