I have been working on this robotic hand for a while now and am finally showing it to people. The hand consists of a palm, 5 fingers, and a thumb joint that works using an SG90 servo motor that can be programmed and motorised (i used an auduino). The fingers fit together very nicely, but i put 3mm screws into their joints so that it is strong. The fingers are moved by thin pieces of fishing wire that come out the bottom of the hand, and there is elastic string behind the fingers to pull it back to default positioning. I haven't yet designed the arm where continuous 360 degree servos will sit to contract the fingers, but that will be coming soon. Putting the parts together is not that hard and pretty straight forward. If anyone has ideas on how to improve this model, please comment.I really want the fingers to fold all the way into the palm, but im not sure on how to do that yet, so any help will be very much appreciated.
