This is a rocking footrest made with real wooden dowels. You can lay it flat and use it as a traditional footrest, or flip it upside down which allows it to rock slightly when you shift your seating position. Print the legs in your favorite PLA and then attach ½" dowels with glue; the holes are slightly larger than 13mm because wood is not exact. You will need 24 dowels of whatever size you desire (16-18" is good).I suggest test fitting before applying glue. It will be easier to assemble if you put glue in all the leg holes and insert one dowel half way into both legs. Repeat until all dowels are seated half way in both legs. It is nearly impossible to put all the dowels into one leg and then try to fit them all into the other leg at the same time.I printed mine in wood PLA and finished off the whole thing with wood glue and a coat of danish oil, and it's been rockin'! There is also a fully printed version.Wood PLA1/2" Wooden DowelsDanish Oil
