The original mounting brackets for my date coder never worked properly. There was no flex in the material to easily tighten each bracket. The current bracket hardware was fixed in place which made it difficult to attach. This model has inset hex screw heads on both sides. The flair knobs are easy to tighten (but expensive, next print is to replace them with printed ones).
This is my 3rd version. I made minor adjustments to the diameter of the rod inlet. Needed to increase diameter by 0.30mm to account for the accuracy of the filament.
You may need to place the part upright on the print field with no supports.
