Need a small tripod for our mini Christmas tree, so I ended up designing a parametric tripod stand for rods.
It can hold either round or square rods (specify diagonal!), can be thin or strong, can have leg pads, open bottom, etc.
Recommend using the pads at the end of the legs for better bed adhesion (hint: set Leg Pads parameter to 0.1, that way you can detach them later if you prefer the clean tripod look).
