Roll-O-RamaThis 3D-printable turntable is designed with simplicity and functionality in mind, leveraging marbles as the core rotational mechanism. The design features two primary components: a base plate and a circular rotating platform. The base plate includes a built-in circular groove that securely houses an array of standard-sized marbles with a diameter of 16/17 mm, distributed evenly to act as ball bearings. The rotating platform, which sits atop the marbles enables a smooth, low-friction movement. You can use the top disk as is or add a nice wooden circular tray on top to get a more esthetic look. The Turntable is 196 mm in size, you can set an additional optional tray of 30 cm on top.This design is fully 3D-printable, with parts optimized for easy assembly without the need for additional hardware, aside from the marbles themselves.
