Rolling Chess set

This is a simplified chess set with a portable carrying case. Pieces and board is designed to be fitted with magnets to securely transport and keep pieces on the board. The game board is designed to be small yet comfortable to play. The game board is 200mm x 200mm but can easily be scaled up as needed.

I designed the pieces to be a modern take on Staunton yet follow the overall curves while still being easily identifiable. The base of the design is from a design by Andrés Morelli who made a concept for Pagani Automobil. This board has magnets in every square and piece so make sure you check the polarity of every piece and board so it attaches correctly.

* Neodymium Magnets: Holes are made to accommodate 6mm diameter x 2mm tall disc (Warning - These things are crazy powerful and can shatter if they collide)
