Rooidoppen

These ‘’rooidoppen’’ (dutch word, don’t know the translation) were used in potatofarming around the 30’s and 40’s. They were dug up by hand and that could ruin your fingers pretty fast, so they made these small tin caps that you could put on your fingertips to protect them.

I changed the diameter slightly for each finger so that it fits snugly while not changing the outer size. To make them fit for your fingers it is best to start the print, let it go for a few layers and stop when you have a small ring, then test it on your finger and change the diameter accordingly.

Maybe you could use it for gardening or become a moleperson and live underground. Let me know what you do with it or if you have any improvements.
