The problem with all gear-wheel rope tensioners, including the excellent Shaka01 design that inspired me (the gear and lever are the same as the Shaka01 design, but the body is almost completely redesigned.), is that to lock you have to loosen the rope by a few millimeters. This design instead allows you to lock the rope by turning the lever clockwise, without loosening. It can be used with ropes from 1 mm. to 5 mm.It is recommended to use PETG if the tensioner is outdoors. I added a version with a modified gear and lever to prevent the screw from unscrewing during tightening (there are 3 gears with different tolerances for a perfect fit with any printer).Boost Me.
