Rosette Window Cookie Impression/Cutter

This is an original design I created for a Subtlety competition. I set it up to be applied as an impression or circular mold to a cookie like gingerbread then cut out from there with a needle tool (very carefully). You may be able to use it as a cookie cutter, if you could make the mold a bit slipperier.

For the stained glass- put the cookie on a silicon baking mat. Combine, in the following proportions: 1 water, 1 corn syrup/karo, 2 granulated sugar, bit of cream of tartar, drop or two of food coloring. You'll need a candy thermometer. Bring it slowly up to the Hard Crack temp, and use small scoops (like 1/8 teaspoons) to transfer it.
