I have designeed this tubewith a wing shape and with 5 side winglets.
I have seen the documentary the makani project. I have seen the mad scottish guyRob from Windste eith his rotor kite... I remember having using asmall springles empty box, having taken the bottom away and throwing it with a rotating motion... it was flying very far... so I tried this. but it tpu with 10 pct infill it is very flexible. it is light but not as light as a carboard or paper...I will attached this to a rope to throw it as far as I can (like throwing a diy throwing ball: the comete)I hope the winglet will force it rotations...
My Idea . if you can place such a thing ina 30deg to the horizontal maybe you get rotation.... having a rotation just at the ground level.
