The extension allows the barbell to be brought closer during rowing for greater contraction in the back.I put some foam tape on the contact point so that the grip doesn't slip around on the barbell.The short version fits on the a1 mini. I pulled so hard on the prototype to break it, to find out where it needed to be thickest. Now nothing stands in the way of Mr. Olympia! 💪 *I recommend not lifting abruptly and not doing pull-ups with this handles.
