RPi HQ Camera Case

Unfortunately, it did not fit my camera, as the design did not factor in space for SMT parts too close to the screw mount posts and for the PCB thickness, which meant the case would not close completely.

So I had to redesign my own RPi HQ Camera case, in OpenSCAD, using the orginal thingiverse as a model. This new design allows for a case with or without the tripod mount and a selection of metric screws.

I use my HQ camera for astrophotography and the design goal is to seal any stray light coming through the PCB back or edges to the sensor.

I also changed the original design so the screws enter from the front and screw into the back is which much thicker than the front cover and avoids the screws from damaging or piercing the cover.
