This is a rubber bridge for guitar designed using TPU 95A. Softer TPUs can also be used, though I haven’t tested print profiles for them yet. I created five variations of the bridge, ranging from 1 wall with 0% infill for maximum dampening (a very muted, “dead” sound) to 3 walls with 20% infill, which provides only slight muting while still resonating more than a normal hand mute. You can also experiment with your own variations and remix to create custom rubber bridges with different tones like: bright, bassy, full, deep, and more. After Printing:You may need a knife to lightly cut the opening for the 6th string, since most printers cannot print that tolerance perfectly. This will typically leave one or two layers fused together; a light cut should separate them easily, and you’ll hear a small “pop” as the thin layer is removed.
