A quick "chess" concept I modeled for a design challenge. The rubix cube faces are remixed to house [these magnets from K&J Magnetics](https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D21B-N52) in each face. I've also included a small pawn model that houses the same magnet in the base. You'll need **at least 54 magnets for the cube** (6 faces * 9 magnets per face) and an additional magnet for each of the pawns you decide to play with.

The basic idea is that you'll be able to play some variation of "pawn only" chess on the faces of the cube, the magnets ensuring that the pawns don't fall off when they're on a non-upward-facing plane. The gimmick of course being that you can rotate the board itself, creating interesting opportunities in gameplay. Besides that, I have **NOT** come up with any rules to this game whatsoever. So I'd love to see what anyone comes up with.

Additionally, I have not printed this out for myself yet. So this model will share any quirks of the original design.
