This is a modernized version of the ruff machine from Elizabethan Costuming 1550-1580. This modular jig can be printed on small printers with no supports to make all sorts of fun ruff shaped items.
Use the split peg to wrap the end of your fabric so it doesn't wander while you're spooling your material.
This is not the historically accurate method to make a ruff but it sure makes it less of a pain.
This is a work in progress and I expect to add different shaped pegs to accommodate larger ruffles.
