I was flying my hyperlite floss with a runcam split but I was finding myself dropping frames more frequently than I would care to admit. The HD footage looked great but the frame drop was enough to make the quad hard to fly. With a bit of design work I was able to remix a gopro dummy into a suitable shell for the runcam split and while I was there I saved a bit of size and weight by scaling the whole operation down 75%.
Included in this thing is a scaled down session mount with a full scale hyperlite floss slot so the scaled down fauxpro session can still ride along the iconic floss top plate.
When Building be sure to run the runcam as far forward in this mount as possible because the FOV is extremely wide. A drop or 2 of hot glue along the front keeps the split from shifting position in the build.
