Rx8 Gauge Pod

This is was designed based off of a series 1, 2005 Mazda Rx8. It is intended to replace the center ash tray with a panel to hold two 52mm gauges.

The gauges are angled towards the driver seat (Car is located in the US) for better viewing.

The clearance for the gauges is pretty tight bc the print will slightly expand due to the heat from the transmission tunnel.

With my setup I have my oil pressure/temp gauge on the left and the water temp on the right. If i were to switch them, i would have a hard time reading the oil pressure gauge when the car is in 3rd or 5th gear.




I recommend printing the mount upside down, and the actual gauge pod layed flat on the mounting posts (as shown in picture). Please feel free to share other settings that have worked for you.
