This is a bracket originally designed as a hold open arm pivot point.
I have a few uncompleted applications that I will add to this as they are finished..
they will be a print in place pivot pin version and the hold open arm that this originally was made for..
There are many uses for it as is and it prints in just over an hour so, handy for quick mounting applications. Slot is 5.2 mm wide to accept a sliding arm (or any other component) of 5mm width.
*Update*- I'm adding a hinge conversion piece to this. It is the second file and just the corresponding piece to turn this bracket in to a hinge..
Dimensions are:
40mm x 40mm (base footprint)
34.5mm tall
Pivot Hole is 6mm (to accept any 6mm pin or bolt)
Mount holes are 3mm with 4mm counterbore
Print settings for PLA I use are:
Layer thickness: 0.2mm
Shell: 5 (allows me to open up mount holes, post-print, if I want larger than 3mm fasteners)
Infill: 50%
Support: No
*Note: the tower arms on this bracket are o
