Here is my long awaited (been meaning to upload for like 2 years) switch break-in machine. It is a mechanical device designed to automate the actuation of mechanical keyboard switches to simulate extended use. By repeatedly pressing switches under controlled force and frequency, the machine helps accelerate the "breaking-in" process—smoothing out scratchy keystrokes, stabilizing feel, and ensuring consistency across switches before installation in a keyboard. This model is 3d printed and uses a triple lobed actuator so multiplies the RPM by factor to allow even more key presses per minute.I used a geared 12v motor (Model: JGB37-3530 on AliExpress) offering output of 200rpm. For the rod i used a Length: 200mm, M3 - 3mm rod attached to the motor with a coupler. In the actuators you will need to insert (push fit) an M3 nut to stop them spinning.I would also recommend applying a small amount of PTFE Lubricant on the lobes to help reduce friction.
