Safety Nest

safe space for bullied pets. the door is open at first. when the bird come in and step on the back plate, the door shuts and locks. when stepping back on the closer plate, the door unlocks and open.

assemble using coathanger as rods. glue 2 nuts under the smaller plate for correct weight distribution.

It does work properly and pretty sure it is safe. My birds are scared of it but you might have better luck.
