This is a new and improved salt dehumidifier. Gone are the o-ring, the bolts and the inserts and you no longer have to take it apart to empty out the water.

Now, when you come to look at your things in storage you just empty out the water, and add more salt if needed. Don't worry about the salt spilling, it will have reacted with the water in the air and will be one solid salt rock. It will stay solid untill it has been completely disovled.
You can see in one of the pictures how much water my version_1 have collected in about two months from inside a box with lid, standing in a relatively dry garage. Ventilated but not heated.

The reason for me to make this is, as you read on the old version site, so that I can store things like baby clothes and other stuff that can be stored cold in my garage or my shed but without it getting mouldy.

The salt used is calcium chloride and buy in home improvement stores, where it is sold a dehumidifier.

The whole thing can be printed wit
