Print - Print Orientation: Print flat with the holes facing up. This gives clean holes, avoids internal supports, and improves fit. Material: PETG recommended for moisture resistance. PLA+ acceptable for dry salt only. Avoid ABS and TPU. Layer Settings: Layer height: 0.2 mm Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.6 mm optional for more reliable holes) Walls and Infill: Walls: 3–4 perimeters (at least 1.2 mm) Infill: 15–20 percent (gyroid or adaptive cubic for greater strength) Threads / Fit: Add 0.2–0.3 mm clearance for screw fit Optional horizontal expansion: –0.1 mm Light sanding may be required Supports: None Brim: Optional 3–5 mm brim for PETG Post Processing: Clean holes with 2–3 mm drill bit by hand Wash with warm water and mild soap Optional food-safe clear coat Food Safety Note: FDM prints are not fully food-safe.
