Sample Filament Spool to Masterspool Adapter

Simple solution are the best, right? After thinking about some overengineered solution of using small filament sample spool I remixed last week on my Prusa MINI spool stand with ball bearing, clearly not designed for such a little thing, I decided to make it simple. I bought Rosa3D Master Spool for their refills. Cheap (around 3-4 Euro), strong, reusable and as they said “AMS compatible”. Widely available in Europe. I designed 3D printed adapter of the inner size of remixed sample filament spool (check my other designs), reinforced it a bit and added 2 shims. That way you may use two filament sample spools same time, or using shims, just single one. Simply press adapter to one Rosa3D disc, add 2 sample spool (or shim, one sample spool and second shim) then press second Rosa3D disc and use it as normal
