Sand Sieving Machine

It sieves sand through the sieving drum driven by an electric motor whose rotary speed is negotiable. A speed of 30RPM is efficient for normal operation. Sand is poured through the hopper which has cavities at the end of its tract for regulating the amount of sand entering the drum. The drum is conical , in account for sand moving under gravity while rotating. Sieved sand leaves the mesh to the 'tray for collecting fine sand' while large particles evacuate through the 'tray for collecting large grains'. The machine has a cover that withdraws sand ejected from the drum to the tray. It can be opened and closed. There is a removable 'turning handle' for manual operation. The whole system can be moved, as the frame has fixed handles and tyre assemblies.
