Version 2 is shown in the CAD model, version 1 in the picture. Version 2 has a shorter cleat on the handle side and triangular markings where to put the command strip. It’s on my machine now, but I didn’t want to wait for the print to be complete to post. I’ll update the photos later.
My work has zero sanitary door handles in the restrooms, and I’ve noticed that a lot of places don’t have them either. I made this to attach with three command strips. Mounting points denoted by the triangles on top. Doesn’t require holes to be drilled.
My first version used a nut and bolt in a clamping action to mount to the door, but the thin shank that passes between the jamb and door flexed. I plan on making a thicker-shanked version for hardware mounting.
Depending on how small the gap between your door and it’s jamb, this may cause the door to not shut all the way.
I also have ZERO idea how to sanitize this beyond isopropyl alcohol and the implications of the print lines and them nesti
