I do a lot of computer work and often I need to work with Hard drives outside the parent system various reasons. I've tried USB docks and they can be hit and miss and clutter up the desk. So I designed this dock to sit in the space of 2 5.25" bays and allows you to slide in 3 of any size SATA hard drive.
For the cables I used a set of cheap generic combination cables from ebay and designed the housing to fit them with just a bit of movement to allow for alignment. The screws to retain the cables were just your typical hard drive mounting screws.
I had to design it in 2 pieces to save on support material. Depending on your printer accuracy the tab and notch may need a little filing to get to fit properly and some crazy glue will hold it all together.
I hope it can be of use to someone else as its been a godsend for me in my work.
