SATCOM Receiver Box

I built this setup to make recieving satellites easier. The box neatly fits an SDR, bandpass filter and LNA. The antenna I used is a fold up dual band Yagi.

I cut an old USB cable and soldered the cable to the solder points on the LNA. I weaved the cable through the mount holes first to give it some strength. Then I connected them all together using these exact connectors

The SDR used was a RTL SDR V5, but any SDRs that are the same size should work. Here is the one I used.

You will need a short piece of coax between the box and antenna. The antenna uses a SO239 and the other end is a SMA, so I made a cable that had an SMA plug installed
