Women have an immense impact on the economic, social, and political stature of community, and play a significant role in the progression of a developing nation. As child bearers, upbringings, and half of a population, women impact not only the current standing of a community, but the economic, social, and political progress of that community. Education can allow a woman to break barriers for herself and her community. She can raise better educated children, who can further impact positive change and raise better children, so thus an educated woman becomes a cyclical form of positive progress. Therefore, it is crucial that all girls in developing nations have the opportunity to continue their education without fear of abuse, violence, or assault.
However, one of the largest reasons girls in developing nations leave schools prematurely is the increase in violence and sexual assault towards girls as they get older. Unfortunately, many girls drop out of school after puberty, as external
