I watched the Mathologer video about the [Schwarz Lantern](https://youtu.be/yAEveAH2KwI?si=aozzyW5x1MWynl-y) and wondered if I could program it up. Then I wondered if I could output the points into something I could 3D print. Then I 3D printed it!
The two files are for two different parameters of the lantern.
The schwarz_lantern_003_030_1_2.5.stl file tries to approximate a cylinder with three points per layer and has 30 layers. The radius of the cylinder is 1 and the height is 2.5.
The schwarz_lantern_010_010_1_2.5.stl file tries to approximate a sylinder with ten points per layer and ten layers. The radius and height are as before.
The idea is to show that it's not necessarily easy to approximate 3D objects with points unless you're careful about the tessellation of the points.
