SCORPIO I – Retro Terminal Computer

SCORPIO I is a retro-futuristic industrial desktop terminal inspired by classic computer consoles from the 1970s and 1980s. The design combines vintage terminal aesthetics with modern compact computing hardware, creating a unique desktop machine that feels like a computer from an alternate technological era.

The project brings a retro control-terminal look with modern components hidden inside a compact 3D-printed chassis.

The terminal features an angled display panel, a front speaker grille area, front control elements and a base section designed to accommodate a compact mechanical keyboard.

The keyboard used as reference for the design is the Royal Kludge RK61, a 60% mechanical keyboard that (hopefully) fits into the base area of the terminal.

The display area was designed around the same screen used in the Callisto Fallout project, allowing visual compatibility between both machines. TouchScreen model JRP7006 7 INCH.
