Scraper (Uses Slotted Blades)

This is a razor scraper that uses slotted blades often called carpet blades. In case you are wondering why I chose to use slotted blades, here are the reasons: vs Utility Blades carpet blades are about the same width as utility blades, but are double-sided They are also thinner, sharper, and more flexible than utility blades vs Scraper Blades they are much wider and double-sided. Even taking into account price differences, carpet blades provide more cutting edge length per dollar than either of the others so they are cheaper for scraping Slotted blades can be obtained in rounded corner (as shown below) or square corner types
