Scratchbuilt RC Steering System

Trying to understand mechanical stuff and get better at CAD, realized I didn't know how a steering system worked so I thought I'd try to design one. Actually works great (see video).

I can update this with more details + code etc if anyone's interested. The pinion is a nylon gear from an old Epson printer that happened to fit the module of a nylon rack that came in one of those packs of cheap 6V motors, of which I used two, secured with 2.5mm screws+nuts
