Screen Blocks:
Update: 2.7.19 - I've added a little more height and depth to the base to help with clearance for panels where the connector faces down and is near the edge. Also added a couple of cable-tidies.
So you have a spare LCD panel and having bought a cheapo driver board kit for it to use as a monitor you find you don't have a neat solution for mounting it?
No problem, I present Screen Blocks:
Print out the blocks (with support) and press-fit them to the lower corners of your TFT panel. No cutting, scraping, gluing required.
They should fit most displays pulled from a laptop, just don't be too brutal - I've gone for dimensions that fit all of the panels I could get my hands on but your mileage may vary... an easy hack if you find your panel won't fit is to adjust the size in your slicing software a little bit prior to printing.
If you need more stability the blocks have voids in their bases to glue something heavy, or even magnets if you intend to use on a metal
