A concept of a height-adjustable unit with a rising spindle, for various applications. All of the components are easily producible by machining, using materials like steel, brass, aluminium, titanium, bronze, together in the right combination. Even components, made of plastic or wood, are a possible alternative. Notes: Model created with »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0« Renderings and animation done in »KeyShot 4« Animation data: 25 fps, t = 21 seconds, frames = 525 All threads are modeled with theoretical values, that means without any clearance. Used threads: M12 x1, M4 and M6 The theoretical stroke of my model is 14 mm. I developed this type of a mechanical drive for a height-adjusting of a simple stand for my notebook, long time ago. The model is available in following data formats: STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly and all native files (.prt) and (.asm), together in a (.7z)-folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
