Who doesn't know it, the cardboard spool is slowly running out, and the AMS (Automatic Material Supply) is increasingly having trouble using it correctly. Problems arise repeatedly. While the environmental idea of cardboard spools is certainly good, the low weight also brings problems. There are several variants of spool weights with batteries. However, these can be damaged by constantly changing temperatures (e.g., if the AMS is above the printer) and constant movement and vibration, or they can leak on their own. I didn't want to take that risk. Therefore, I created my own version with screws and nuts. Weight without Spool: ~233gWeight with empty Cardboard Spool (e.g. Jayo): ~389,5gWeigt of an empty Bambulab Spool: ~256gPrint Settings:The best results can be achieved with a layer height of 0.20 or 0.16mm.
