Screw Lock Cable Connector

I designed this connector as an alternative to weak and undersized plastic terminal blocks, using cable lugs together with M4 bolts and nuts to create stronger and more durable wire connections.

In my own use, it has not caused any issues, and I have been using similar connections for around 6 years. However, I still have some safety concerns when publicly sharing the design.

If you plan to use it in an easily accessible location, I strongly recommend covering the large cable entry opening and ensuring that the exposed metal parts of the rear M4 nuts are properly insulated.
