Simply insert a short length of filament through the hinge holes to create the pivot mechanism. Once inserted, seal the ends of the filament by carefully applying heat with a lighter. Slightly melt the tips so they expand and form small caps on both sides. This prevents the filament from sliding out while keeping the hinge functional. ⚠️ Be careful not to overheat the filament to avoid deforming the hinge. Assembly Print all parts in PLA. Align the hinge holes of the lid and body. Insert a piece of filament through the hinge. Melt both filament ends lightly to secure them. This design keeps hardware to a minimum and requires no additional screws or metal pins.
