Scroll Plaque with Customizable Text

Scroll plaque with customizable text messages that I created to celebrate a graduation. Hole in the back allows for wall hanging. Recommend changing filament color during print to highlight the text against the background (I just manually added an "M600" command at the start of the 3mm layer in the gcode).

For graduation plaques, I suggest merging a school logo into the blank area using Slic3r (assuming you can find a separate STL file with the logo).

Update 7/31/20: Added a second version of the SCAD file that supports optional debossed text on top (it may reduce the stringing). When using debossed text on top, however, you might want to change the filament color twice. Look at the layers in your Slicer program to determine where to insert the M600's in the gcode.
