This is an interface between a spring and the grip assembly of the Taipan, indexing the spring and giving it pretension. Without this piece the spring jams, scratches and fails.

Other Longshot springs are likely to also work, and are readily available. Do not go much heavier than 8KG however. And this part is currently optimized for this exact spring. If others haven different springs and need to customize this part to fit those, let me know and i will upload them here as well.

Print in the most temperature resistant material available, eg carbon fiber. Milled aluminum would be even better. some sanding or filing may be required for fitment. The flat section of the interface should run along the top, under the action bar, to give additional clearance.

Print vertically with supports and high wall count and infill.
