I wanted to test out my new MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner with a scan of a tiny foot-like object I sculpted out of Super Sculpey. The purpose was to test several things: calibration process, resolution of the scanner in tiny cracks and crevasses and the multi-scan feature.
**You probably can't tell, but I'm not too impressed.**
The software actually crashed before the second scan finished. Apparently, the first scan went alright since that's all I see.
Unfortunately, I didn't take a "before" photo of the object before smashing it up to re-use.
_(...truth be told, I slammed the original, tiny Sculpey foot in a closet door and yelled for my 5-year old nephew to come and **"help me! I caught a leprechaun in the closet!"**)_
_**UPDATE**: I found a picture of the original leprechaun foot from some photos in a day of fun at **Uncle Nick's Laboratory**. Enjoy!_
