SCX24 Light Buckets

These are light buckets for the 3mm LEDs that come with the SCX24. I wanted to put lights back on my truck in a more realistic location. They work with both the Deadbolt and Jeep bodies.


TO INSTALL

(Please note that the sticker and body may be damaged when installing. I tore through the corner of the body and the part of the sticker where the lights are.)

You'll need:

-Glue
-A thin, clear piece of plastic
-(Optional) Silver paint or a silver marker
-A drill or body reamer

You can color the inside of the bucket silver. I used a silver Sharpie.

I designed a small, square indentation in the front of the bucket. You can cut a small square of clear plastic and glue it there to be the lens.

Make holes in the body. I used the sticker as a reference point to drill the holes (I do not have a body reamer). If using a drill, be careful as there is not much material around the lights.

Line up the bucket with the drilled hole and glue it on.
