SdAh116 was a transport for tanks consiting of 2 bogies and a bridge.
It was designed for max. 22t, but carried up to 28t.
Two SdAh116 were appointed to the "Panzer-Bergestaffel" of a "Panzerwerkstattzug"
for exact inventory look for K.St.N.1185 .
For loading (unloading) of a tank, the rear bogie let slip the bridge and was backed up. Now the tank rolled straight from the back onto the bridge. The rear-bogie retook its place, lifted the bridge-end and the now loaded SdAh116 was towen to maintainance unit or back to the line of battle.
As the SdAh116 with the towing SdKfz9 *(18t Famo)* or SdKfz8 (12 t) was a very long unit, steering was difficult, therefor a second driver was seated in the rear-bogie to pilot the bridges rear around corners.
I used sCAD to compile the stl-Files and scaled them 1/100
The "SdAh-166.stl" file is not to be printed, it just shows what you get.
The bogies do need supports as w
