Second-Level Bedding Frame for Rodent Cage

This is a frame for the opening in the second level of the Little Zoo Venturer cage, in some countries also sold as the Maximus cage. It sits around the platform cutout and creates a 5 cm (2 inch) high raised lip that helps prevent loose bedding and substrate from being pushed or kicked through the opening to the level below. Your pets can still move through the opening as usual, but the cage stays cleaner and the upper level retains bedding better. I designed this as a simple quality-of-life upgrade for deeper bedding setups, especially for rats and other small animals that love digging and rearranging their enclosure.
